Director Chris Flanagan talks to FERNTV about his new documentary Shella Record – A Reggae Mystery and how the idea for this film came about. Chris is a massive record collector and when he came across an album with a musician by the name of Shella Record, his curiosity started to rise about her. His quest and journey to find this artist has spanned for almost a decade and brought him to such places as L.A. and Jamaica. Not to mention some of the true icons of reggae music such as Bunny “Striker” Lee and Earl “Chinna” Smith.
