It’s nice to have business ideas and put your best foot forward and become an entrepreneur or a founder. It’s another thing to keep hustling every day and to never give up. Especially, when there are big challenges to overcome. For many founders, getting any type of support when building from the ground up can be difficult and intimidating.

It is part of the game to develop a plan or strategy to pitch your idea or business. Pitching effectively does not come overnight. It needs to be polished over time. Companies like Curastory founded by a former data scientist at ESPN, Tiffany Kelly, has been successful in attaining true support.

Opportunity Knocks

After the NCAA’s historic amendment to a 109-year-old rule allowing student-athletes to monetize their creative content, Tiffany Kelly saw opportunity. She saw media being decentralized in the future and audiences will be harder to reach. (Very similar to Karen Palmer’s Consensus Gentium). Despite this grim outlook, Tiffany Kelly created Curastory because she also saw the creator economy growing exponentially. Curastory allows athletes to shoot, edit and monetize their own shows. Furthermore, to distribute them to any of the video channels for free. This creator economy alone in the NCAA is worth $1.1B.

Curastory has experts in their organization ready to help content creators to the next level. These experts are from the NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLS, NCAA and ESPN.

Curastory has over 40,000 users since its inception in 2019 and has secured more than 6.3 million in funding. Curastory is set to make over 9 million in revenue this year. A lot of that has to do with the expertise of Tiffany Kelly in sports and math.

Confidence is Key

FERNTV learned that Tiffany Kellywas confident in her plan for Curastory rigth from the beginning. She also knew that the feedback from others is essential for her business to succeed. So not only having confidence in herself but from others is a building tool that is necessary. This has led her to receive the funding that she needed to make Curastory for her and her users.

Every business has its growing pains but Tiffany Kelly has been graceful and authentic about her vision for Curastory. That’s the right attitude to achieve the levels in business and to connect with well-known brands and organizations. An honest approach will get you honest results. Ain’t that the truth?
