Dalíland will be Closing Night Film @TIFF 2022
Canadian director Mary Harron’s Dalíland will be the Closing Night film at TIFF 2022

TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey made the announcement today that Dalíland will be the closing night film at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival 2022. The industry is excited for Canadian director Mary Harron‘s new installment. Dalíland premieres on September 27th at Roy Thomson Hall.
Dalíland tells the story of the strange relationship between artist Salvador Dali and his wife Gala. It is told through the eyes of Dali’s assistant James who himself wants to make it in the art world. Set in 1973 in London and New York, James helps the iconic artist for a gallery show.
“We couldn’t be prouder that Harron is a Canadian who has taken her singular explorations of iconic eccentrics to the world stage. In portraying the wild relationship between Salvador Dalí and his partner, Gala, Harron continues to keep moviegoing fresh,” says Cameron Bailey who is excited for this feature.
Dalíland will star Sir Ben Kingsley as Salvador Dali and Barbara Sukowa as Gala. Edward R. Pressman will be producing the film. FERNTV sees that this is going to be a gem.
