The question many moviegoers will have circulating this year at the Tribeca Film Festival will be who is Liza Anonymous? This will breed more questions like what is her real name? Who is she? Where did she come from? Why is she here? What’s her deal? What’s her story? All those questions have answers when you come to see the self-titled film at the Tribeca Film Festival. FERNTV suggests you find out who she is.

Liza Anonymous is a lonely millennial who is trying to find her calling or footing. She is addicted to support groups and disguises herself in different personas to find out where she fits in. A short film showing her process of elimination in looking for love and support from others.

Actress Danielle Beckmann plays this hilarious and compelling character of Liza Anonymous that will have the audience show that love. A female-led crew of director Aubrey Smyth and writer Leah McKendrick are leading the charge and tone of this feminocentric production.

Liza Anonymous reflects where many of us stand at this point in time. Its comedic narrative brings much-needed smiles and laughter done in an organic plus genuine nature.

The film lets the audience know that it is okay to laugh once again especially when this premieres at Tribeca Film Festival. It is the first festival of this magnitude to have in-person seating after the pandemic. It’s safe to say that it is once again exciting to have a film like this be screened “Live in New York.”
