Chili Finger Sizzles @SXSW 2026

SXSW always gets the weirdest and zaniest of films with ensembles that are eccentric. Chili Finger is one of those films that fall into the niche this iconic festival has carved out for itself over the years. This premise has Judy Greer playing Jessica Lipki, who finds a severed finger in her bowl of chilli. To escape her mundane life, she blackmails the restaurant for $100,000, and in return, she and her husband, Ron, played by Sean Astin, stay quiet. Seems like a golden opportunity for the couple to take advantage of a fast food chain.

Little does Jessica know that this would eventually get to the top owner of the fast food empire Blake Junior’s. “The” Blake Junior himself decides to investigate further and hires his ex-Marine buddy Dave to do some digging.

Chili Finger also stars Bryan Cranston and John Goodman to round up this organic cast set to execute an explosive storyline. Both directors, Edd Benda and Stephen Helstad, bring this dynamic film together, set to premiere at SXSW 2026. FERNTV says that if you are ready to have some fun, then it’s time to watch Chili Finger.
