How Much Did This Movie Make?-Insidious (2010)

Released in 2011, James Wan’s Insidious became one of horror’s great low-budget success stories. Starring Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins and Lin Shaye, the supernatural thriller follows a family attempting to save their comatose son from malevolent spirits connected to a terrifying realm known as “The Further.” Made for a production budget of only $1.5 million, Insidious earned $54 million domestically and approximately $100.1 million worldwide—more than 66 times its production budget. The film’s enormous return helped launch the Insidious franchise and established it as one of the standout horror success stories of the 2010s.
FERNTV ANSWER: $100.1 MILLION WORLDWIDE.
