Jenna Ortega in Finestkind @TIFF 2023

If Jenna Ortega came to TIFF this year it would be definitely insane. With TIFF around the corner, you would have to wonder which stars are going to bless the red carpet. Especially with the SAG strike that is still going on. With Harry Styles blessing the city of Toronto with his presence last year, can Jenna Ortega overtake the hype?

Paramount Plus will be presenting Finestkind at the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 under the Gala Presentations. It will premiere at the Roy Thomson Hall on September 8th, 2023 at 9:30 PM.

Finestkind tells the story of two brothers (Ben Foster & Toby Wallace), raised in different worlds. Both are reunited as adults over a fateful summer. Set against the backdrop of commercial fishing, the story takes on primal stakes when desperate circumstances force the brothers to strike a deal with a violent Boston crime gang. Along the way, a young woman (Jenna Ortega) finds herself perilously in the middle. Sacrifices must be made and bonds between brothers, friends, lovers, and a father (Tommy Lee Jones) and his son are tested.

If there is anyone that TIFF fans will be screaming for it will definitely be Jenna Ortega. Hopefully, she will sign a waiver to be on the red carpet.
