Halo The Series set to launch @SXSW 2022
SXSW Festival attendees were able to enjoy a drone show to get excited about Halo The Series

There was something in the air last weekend at SXSW. After a two-year absence, the iconic festival that takes place in Austin, Texas was again in full swing. If you were catching a new film or watching a band at one of the venues, you may have missed something in the sky. There was an important drone show that happened on Sunday night that made many attendees curious. If you saw it, you were informed that Halo was coming to Earth.
It was a drone show by Giant Spoon that helped the launch of the premiere Halo The Series at SXSW. Over four hundred drones flew in synchronization that would bring life to the sky. The drones then formed a QR code in the sky which allowed you to get a glimpse of the exciting upcoming series and its characters including Master Chief and Cortana.

Halo Season 1 will be premiering on Paramount+ on March 24th. New episodes will air every Thursday for nine weeks.
HALO stars Pablo Schreiber (“American Gods”) as the Master Chief, Spartan-117; Natascha McElhone (“Californication”) as Dr. Halsey, the brilliant, conflicted and inscrutable creator of the Spartan super-soldiers; and Jen Taylor (“Halo” game series, RWBY) as Cortana, the most advanced AI in human history, and potentially the key to the survival of the human race.
HALO was a global entertainment phenomenon. The game sold over 82 million copies worldwide and grossed over $6 billion in total sales revenue.
