THE AGE OF CONSEQUENCES ON POINT ON CLIMATE CHANGE

When Al Gore introduced to us The Inconvenient Truth, he was able to give us a fine blueprint of how are current actions w ere affecting the environment. Fast forward near a decade later we see that many conflicts have risen in Africa, the Middle East and in most recently in Syria. We are all aware through the media that these wars are producing many deaths, refugees and abandoned urban living spaces. Although, the media has never allowed us to make sense of all these wars and what it is the common denominator in causing them to develop. The Age of Consequences is the answer to our confusion of why these conflicts are causing world disruption. Director Jared P. Scott interweaves an amazing documentary of how all of these major wars are correlated to climate change.
What is unique about The Age of Consequences and what we learned through our interview with Jared P. Scott is that the narrative of the film are from people of who are in positions of power otherwise known as the US National Security. We are strictly getting the inside facts on how climate change is causing a huge migration of refugees, failed states and then the uprise with everyone’s number one enemy that being terrorism. This is causing our sense of security to be in question and if we continue down this path, then there are going to be grim consequences. Director Jared P. Scott does great job in making sense of all this mess that we the world has gotten into, we just need to get out of it now. Sooner before later.
