It was a beautiful night for a worthy film to receive its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2022. Alice, Darling was getting the red carpet treatment at the Roy Thomson Hall on opening weekend.

Director Mary Nighy’s latest installment has Anna Kendrick playing Alice. She is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend Simon, played by Charlie Carrick. She then becomes a participant in an intervention that is set up by her friends.
