Red Sox legend makes a surprise appearance at the red carpet premiere of Bucky Fucking Dent at Tribeca Film Festival

It was quite the turnout for the red-carpet premiere of Bucky F*cking Dent at the Tribeca Film Festival. It’s a story of a terminally ill father and estranged son who reconnect. Set against a backdrop of the 1978 pennant race between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. The infamous home run of Bucky Dent culminates into the film. Along with the poetic and romanticism of the game of baseball. The film is adapted from the book written by the director/actor of the film David Duchovny.

The red carpet at the OKX Theatre was quite surprised when one of the long-time rival of New York showed up. The legendary Pedro Martinez of the Boston Red Sox showed his support along with Matthew Broderick. FERNTV also had the chance to interview producers Jordan Beckerman and Jordan Yale Lavine. We also had the chance to speak to Logan Marshall-Green who lays the son Ted Fullove who reconnects with his terminally ill father Marty Fullove played by of David Duchovny.
