All eyes on Robert De Niro @Tribeca 2023

There was a lot going on in New York City last night. The Canadian wildfires were blowing smoke south toward major cities in the Northeastern United States including NYC. At one time during the mid-afternoon, New York City was rated the worst in the world in air quality. That did not stop Robert De Niro from getting the Tribeca Film Festival to a raving start on Wednesday night.

Mayor Eric Abrams who told New Yorkers to stay home gave the keys to the city to De Niro. The movie icon was joined by another long-time friend in Martin Scorsese to help celebrate this wonderful moment. From there De Niro joined heavy-hitting celebs for the opening night red carpet event of the film Kiss The Future. Producer Matt Damon was joined by the likes of Brendan Fraser, Mark Ruffalo and Deborah Messing.

The media world seemed to have a bigger interest in the relationship between Robert De Niro and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen. They both welcomed their first child together and De Niro’s seventh child in total. The 79-year old Hollywood star has been topping the headlines along with Al Pacino who has also recently had another child but with a 29-year-old.
