NTT:  Tell us how you began your musical career and what inspired you to start making music?   Kindimmer: It just happened! There isn't a magical history behind all! I just loved music as a kid and i wanted to be a part of the musical universe myself. When i was 17 i was hooked with Playstation and a new "game" got my attention. It was called Music 2000 and it was a sequencer for making music in Playstation! After a lot of experiments on it i've reached a point that i realized i wanted to produce music a bit more seriously! Then everything just flowed... the first software sequencers, the first completed tracks, studies on musical technology, the first release!   NTT:  You must be really happy with Groovin' Life being up on the charts on Beatport?   Kindimmer: Sure i'm happy but being charted is not really that important to me! I mean there's a lot of great music that has never had a place in the charts!   NTT:  Tell us about your relationship with Sek, you have some collaborations with him.  Is he one of those remixers that you never get to see?   Kindimmer: Sek is a great producer but a better friend for me! We've known each other for a long time and we share the same passion for music. We both live in Athens and we get to see each other almost everyday. We work a lot together and exchange a lot of ideas, technical tips, and as soon as i finish a track he is the man  who gets to listen to it first and the other way around.
NTT:  Is the world finally paying attention to the country of Greece because there seems to be a flush of great producers coming out of the country such as yourself, Sek as well as And.Id?   Kindimmer: I think that Greece has many great producers and many of them are having a nice career abroad. Maybe Greece doesn't have the hype of Germany but i think that is already on the map of the dance industry. The ones that should pay more attention to Greek producers is the Greeks!   NTT:  There are a lot of artists who produce techno and minimal, or tech house and minimal, you on the other hand produce deep house and minimal...can you comment on that?   Kindimmer: I never have in mind genres when i produce music. It just places walls on your creativity! So what i do is just let go and go along with the results of my experimentation.   NTT: What do you have in store for yourself in the future?   Kindimmer: Continue producing music, and maybe change the colour in my room!   NTT:  What is a track that you love to play that everyone wants you to name?   Kindimmer: Pele - El Condor (Alex Niggemann remix) I've been playing it for sometime now and it does the trick everytime! www.myspace.com/kindimmerhttp://www.myspace.com/kindimmershapeimage_11_link_0
